Congress documents should be collected
onsite at the registration desk at
the Palais de Beaulieu. Name badges
must be worn visibly at all times during
the Congress and in the exhibition
area. Please note that access will not
be possible into any of the Congress areas without an official badge.
The badges are colour coded as follows:
Red: Faculty
Green: Participants
Blue: Industry
Transparent: Accompanying persons

Registered participants will receive a
certificate of attendance which will
allow them to claim CME points in their
country. The ESPD Congress 2010 has
CME approval for the official scientific
programme. Exact number of points will
be confirmed on-site on the Certificate
of Participation. Satellite Symposia are
not CME approved unless the sponsors
have gained approval for the symposia from the UEMS (European Union of
Medical Specialists).
A Cyber Café is available within the
exhibition area. Furthermore, Wi-Fi is
available within the Congress Centre
during the Congress opening hours.
ESPD and MCI Suisse SA, as the
Congress planner, claim no liability for
the act of any supplier to this meeting,
nor liability for personal injury, the
safety of any attendee while in transit
to or from this event, for any loss or
damage, for delays in transport by air,
sea, rail, road, weather, in case of
strikes, sickness, war or other causes.
During the meeting, ESPD presents an
attractive pharmaceutical exhibition to
all participants and accompanying
persons. All coffee breaks and catering
will be served in this exhibition area.

Coffee/tea during official breaks are
included in the registration fees and
will be served around the exhibition
area. A cash bar located in the middle
of the exhibition area will be opened
outside the official Congress breaks.
Satellite Symposia will normally offer
lunch boxes during their mid day
sessions. For participants not attending
these symposia, lunch boxes will be
available at reduced prices.
A lost-and-found service is available at
the registration desk.
Delegates are kindly requested to keep
their mobile phones in the off position
in the rooms where scientific and educational
sessions are being held, as
well as around the poster area.
English will be the official language of
the Congress. No simultaneous translation
will be provided.
The use of camera and video recorder is
strictly forbidden during all the sessions.

Delegates’ fees include:
• Admission to the Congress scientific
sessions from Thursday, 20 to
Saturday, 22, May 2010 unless other
wise stated.
• Congress documents, including
badge and Congress bag.
• Final programme and abstract book.
• Access to the commercial exhibition
and posters.
• Welcome reception on Thursday, May
20, 2010 at the Congress Centre.
• Free city transportation Pass for the
duration of your stay if staying at a
hotel in Lausanne.
• Coffee breaks which will be served
in the main lobby.
• Certificate of attendance.

The ESDP 2010 Congress wishes to be a
non-smoking event. Participants are
kindly requested to refrain from smoking
in the Congress venue, including
within the exhibition & poster area.
The Speakers' Preview Room is located
next to the Plenary room (Lausanne).
Speakers are kindly requested to
provide their PC formatted USB keys
(PowerPoint presentations) to the
Speaker's Preview Room centre at least
two hours before their session. All conference rooms contain state-of-theart
technical equipment.
